Fuel Suction Control Valves (SCV)
Shop replacement Fuel Suction Control Valves (SCV) at AH Car Parts. Fitted directly to the high-pressure fuel pump, our precision SCVs regulate fuel volume before it enters the pump element to ensure steady idling and smooth acceleration. Backed by a full 1-Year Warranty.
What is a Fuel Suction Control Valve (SCV)?
The Suction Control Valve (SCV) is an electromagnetic valve mounted on the high-pressure diesel fuel pump. It controls the amount of fuel sucked into the pump chamber, regulating common rail supply from the source.
Why Do SCV Valves Fail?
Internal plungers suffer from stiction (sticking) due to microscopic fuel deposits and continuous cycle wear. When the valve sticks, the ECU cannot accurately control fuel flow into the injection pump.
Symptoms of a Faulty SCV Valve
Common signs include uneven or hunting engine idle, power surges during acceleration, engine stalling, hard starting, or fault codes related to fuel pump volume regulation.
Why Choose AH Car Parts?
Our replacement SCV valves feature high-grade internal seals and precision-ground plungers to prevent sticking and pressure fluctuation. Dispatched fast from our UK warehouse.
