Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) & TMAP Sensors

Browse replacement Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) and combined Temperature MAP (TMAP) sensors at AH Car Parts. Designed to measure manifold vacuum and boost pressure, our precision sensors allow the ECU to optimize air-fuel mixture and ignition timing β€” backed by a full 1-Year Warranty.

What is a MAP / TMAP Sensor?

A MAP sensor monitors air pressure inside the intake manifold. Integrated TMAP variants feature an additional built-in NTC thermistor to measure intake air temperature (IAT) simultaneously through a single 4-pin sensor body.

Why Do MAP Sensors Fail?

Exposure to oil vapor, carbon buildup, and soot contamination blocks the internal pressure port. Over time, heat stress or moisture intrusion degrades the internal silicon piezoresistive element, causing signal drift.

Symptoms of a Faulty MAP Sensor

Common symptoms include rough idling, hesitation on acceleration, excessive fuel consumption, dark exhaust smoke, limp mode under boost, or fault codes like P0105, P0106, P0107, P0108, or P0109.

Why Choose AH Car Parts?

Our replacement MAP and TMAP sensors feature robust oil-resistant seals, OEM-spec pin configurations, and fast-response temperature thermistors for optimal engine performance. Dispatched fast across the UK.
