Fuel Rail Pressure Relief Regulator Control Valves

Browse replacement Fuel Rail Pressure Relief Regulator Control Valves at AH Car Parts. Mounted directly at the end of the common rail manifold, these solenoid valves vent excess diesel back to the fuel return line to maintain optimal pressure levels β€” backed by a full 1-Year Warranty.

What is a Fuel Rail Pressure Regulator Valve?

The Fuel Rail Pressure Regulator (DRV / PCV) acts as a pressure limiter on the common rail manifold. It opens and closes dynamically to bleed off surplus fuel back to the tank, safeguarding injectors from over-pressurisation.

Why Do Pressure Relief Valves Fail?

High fluid velocity, pressure spikes, and microscopic fuel contaminants wear out the valve needle and sealing seat. Internal electrical solenoid shorting or damaged O-rings cause pressure leaks into the fuel return line.

Symptoms of a Faulty Rail Regulator Valve

Faulty regulators lead to difficulty starting, engine stalling under load, sudden power loss (Limp Mode), or fault codes such as P0087 (Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low) or P0088 (Fuel Rail Pressure Too High).

Why Choose AH Car Parts?

Our replacement pressure relief regulator valves feature hardened steel internal needles and high-temp Viton sealing rings for leak-free, high-pressure operation. Dispatched fast across the UK.
